Kimberley Palmese

Kimberley Palmese brings over 20 years of expertise in strategic conference and event planning and management, diplomatic protocol and destination management to The Webster Group. She has planned and managed events both domestically and abroad.

Her recent events include conferences for the FEMA Office of Disability and Integration, the National Naval Medical Center and World Press Freedom Day. She worked on the Points of Light Foundation events surrounding the Kennedy Center Tribute to President George H.W. Bush as well as with the Special Forces Charitable Trust. She is currently working on the Commissioning of the new USCGC Stratton.

Ms. Palmese worked as an advance and protocol officer for the United States government in the Office of the President of the United States. Her responsibilities included the logistics for moving the president, first lady and staff, including coordination with the host country/committee on the format of the meetings, attendees, travel logistics, security, protocol and all day-to-day plans. In addition, she worked on the planning and management logistics for NATO Summits, G-8 Summits, APEC Summits and the Summit of the Americas. She has an extensive knowledge of domestic and foreign protocol from her work with delegations from more than 50 countries on five continents.

Ms. Palmese also worked at the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security, State and Education where she was responsible for the planning and implementation of domestic and international travel of the first secretary of Homeland Security and secretary of Education. As a senior member of the protocol team, she negotiated and managed logistics supporting foreign delegations travel to the United States. She also served as the primary liaison for visiting foreign dignitaries, maintaining their daily schedules, all travel within the U.S. and the negotiation and planning of bilateral meetings with U.S. government officials.

Ms. Palmese holds a BA in Political Science from St. Michael's College and is a member of Meeting Planners International.
