Director Phil Hargis joined The Webster Group’s Government Division in February 2014. He provides budgetary, logistical and marketing support to multiple contracts and clients, including several USTDA reverse trade missions.
Before joining The Webster Group, Phil was a program manager at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where he supported the Directorate of Intelligence (DI) Program, managing the contractor support team for the DI, preparing budgets, financial reports, and overseeing DI travel procedures. Phil has a TS/SCI security clearance. Prior to joining the FBI, Phil worked for ECS-Federal, Inc/Paradigm Technologies, Inc., where he was a Financial Manager, Program Manager, Cost Analyst and and Earned Value Management Systems Analyst on programs at the following: U.S. Navy Virginia Class Submarines, the Missile Defense Agency, and Washington Headquarters Services. While in these roles he developed, implemented and managed a broad variety of financial strategies, reports, analysis and budgeting functions.
Phil earned two bachelor-of-science degrees from The Florida State University in 1995, one in Mathematics and one in Economics. He is an ultra marathon runner, television and video producer, and recently received his Permaculture Design Certificate from the Permaculture Research Institute in Austrailia.
